For the first time in 3 years, due to the forced hiatus through the pandemic, the Ontario District Fall Convention Chorus Contest is back!  It took a bit to clear out the cobwebs, but we managed to get dressed, lined up, and ready to go on the contest stage alongside our Chorus friends from across the District.

It's a GO! We've met minimum number threshold. SEATS ARE STILL AVAILABLE!

Save the hassle and stress of the 401 through Toronto and enjoy yourself late into the night at the Saturday Afterglow without worrying about driving in the morning. Take the Barbershop Bus to the Ontario District Dall Convention instead!

On the morning of Friday, October 21, the bus will leave from Ottawa and make stops around Kingston, Belleville, and other places en route to St. Catharines. On Sunday morning after the Convention (Oct 23), the bus will drive you back to where you were picked up from.

The Capital City Chorus is proud to announce our new Music Director, Tony Bove! Tony is thrilled to be directing the Capital City Chorus, beginning on Monday, July 4th with his first rehearsal as our new Music Director. We're very excited to start the next chapter of the CCC with Tony!

A huge thank you to Nick van Berkel who has done a fantastic job as our Interim Director over the last 6 months, bringing us back from our pandemic hiatus, getting us back on our feet and our voices ringing sweet harmony again! We look forward to having him back on the risers.

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced choral director, preferably but not necessarily with expertise directing and providing coaching for music in the Barbershop style. The application deadline has been extended to March 18, 2022. Submit applications by email or direct any questions about the position to [email protected].

A huge thank you to everyone who came to support the chorus at our Christmas Show! We could not have asked for a better audience. This year we had a number of new variables to manage including the change of venue to the wonderful St. Thomas the Apostle church, but everything worked out brilliantly, despite the weather on Friday night! Thanks again to Ripple Effect Quartet for sharing your sparkling talent with us all.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Looking forward to sharing what we have planned in 2019... stay tuned for details!
