A huge thank you to everyone who came to support the chorus at our Christmas Show! We could not have asked for a better audience. This year we had a number of new variables to manage including the change of venue to the wonderful St. Thomas the Apostle church, but everything worked out brilliantly, despite the weather on Friday night! Thanks again to Ripple Effect Quartet for sharing your sparkling talent with us all.
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Looking forward to sharing what we have planned in 2019... stay tuned for details!

The Capital City Chorus is pleased to introduce our Interim Music Director, Sean Mueller.
After 17 years under the direction of Denis Laflamme, the Capital City Chorus has decided to change its musical leadership. As Musical Director, Denis brought his skills and talents as a musician, vocal coach, and director to long-term and budding barbershoppers in the Ottawa area. Our members and audiences alike will miss his showmanship, passion and enthusiasm, and fellowship. We sincerely thank Denis for his years of service with the Ottawa Chapter and we wish him all the best in his endeavours.
On Friday, March 24th, FourTune Quartet entertained guests at the 50's JukeBox Jam. Algonquin College Event Management Students paired up with the Children's Wish Foundation to grant a wish for a child diagnosed with a life-threatening condition. The 50s Jukebox Jam was a successful fundraiser and included a fun evening of classic 50's games, silent auction, and a diner-style dinner, not to mention the dulcet tones of a Barbershop Quartet.
On March 12, 2017, members of the Chorus formed a VLQ to perform as pre-show entertainment at the Ottawa Runway for Hope, a charity fashion show in support of the CHEO Foundation.
