Tony Bove
Tony joined The Barbershop Harmony Society as a singer in 1996, and was completely hooked from the very first warm-up exercise at his very first rehearsal. It wasn’t long before he was singing tags, going to conventions, quartetting, and throughout his barbershop career he has coached choruses and quartets at every opportunity including the Northern Stars Chorus (Nepean chapter, BHS) and the Chapman Mills Sound Connection (Barrhaven chapter, Harmony Inc.). Today he sings Baritone in his quartet "Big Time", with current and past members of the CCC.
Tony is a frequent attendee of Harmony University and Director’s College, finding the path of continuous improvement to be challenging and satisfying!
Tony lives in Pakenham with his husband, Andy Williams, where they enjoy the serenity, connection to nature, and sense of community that come with rural living in the Ottawa Valley.
Tony is thrilled to be directing the Capital City Chorus. July 4, 2022 was his first rehearsal as our new Music Director. We're very excited to start the next chapter of the CCC with Tony!
